My creativity and artistic nature were nurtured by my mother, who is a natural with a paintbrush. My creative childhood days led me to take art classes in high school and ultimately go into graphic design upon graduation from Ole Miss. After falling in love with Oxford over my time in college, my husband Rod and I decided to make it our home.

When Rod deployed with the U.S. Army months later, I leaned on the joys of painting to pass the time. My art focuses on the comforts I find in Oxford and the mighty Mississippi. My entire collection tells the story of snuggled mornings with man's best friend, tranquil afternoons under Southern oaks, and festive evenings of mouth-watering cuisine. To me, each piece is a reminder of the very things so many hold dear: the beauty and peace of the place you call home.
